back from Silbertal Apparently I'll probably miss a few already. I was back with my girlfriend a few days in St. Marie aux Mines. It was like always exciting and has lots of impressions. Great artists have exhibited their works from around the world. Unfortunately, for my taste, this year issued very many traditional quilts. Udn who knows me knows that I am rather new experimental from me. Unfortunately, it was not in a way, but we have also found quite quickly our favorites and I am very excited about the work.
Firstly, Irene Kahmann the work of herself and her quilting group issued. It was a dream. Topic: The material from which the trees are. Over thirty trees hung from the ceiling of a church. Simply great. She has also written a book about what course I had to have the same. She describes very well, as they are in the works approached. Here is a small section of a tree.
Next, Sandra Mech was with her work there. From her I'm excited for a long time and could see her work from her book finally live. You get a very different relationship to it because it finally sees the three-dimensionality.
And now are my two absolute favorite. Judith James and Michael James of the United States. This is for my taste, the first art quilt League. Who has the possibility times should not miss the exhibition. The quilts are really awesome.
